Oil Valley Block Off Plugs for Gen IV LS & Gen V LT 2005-2019 Set of 8

The Oil Valley Block Off Plugs are designed for Chevrolet, General Motors, Oldsmobile, and Cadillac vehicles from the 2005-2018 Generation IV and 2014-Current Generation V engines. Quantity 8 AFM/DOD plugs are provided to block oil passages in these engine models.

These plugs can be used to block the AFM oil galleys under the VLOM plate. To install, the plugs are slightly tapped into the oil galley holes until flush with the bottom lip of the plug. If the plugs ever need to be removed, the top is tapped to allow for easy extraction (4mm x .7 thread size). Installation images are provided for reference.

These plugs are commonly used when changing from DOD/AFM lifters to the traditional LS/LS7 style lifters. It is important to note that these plugs are specifically designed to fit the original DOD/AFM valley cover. They cannot be used with a non-DOD valley cover or aftermarket valley cover.
